Inquiry Learning

At Bluestone children are often involved in inquiry learning. This gives them the opportunity to ask open ended questions, use their learning in new and creative ways and then to develop a 'so what'  at the end. This could be a social action as a result of their inquiry eg after inquiring into ways to care for the environment students could develop a system for using our food waste more effectively.

We have developed our own model of inquiry learning  and then developed a Year 1 to 4 model
and  a Year 5 to 8 model as shown below.
