TTEC Timaru Technology Education Centre

Bluestone School governs TTEC which is situated on a separate site (Corner of North Street and Grey Road) and which caters once a week for approximately 850 Year 7 & 8 students from throughout our district.

There are 7 teachers employed by Bluestone at TTEC. 

A TTEC Management Committee comprising of representatives of urban and rural primary schools, secondary schools, and industry, provide assurance that the Centre reflects the needs of the clients.

TTEC was opened in 2007 by the then Prime Minister, Helen Clarke.

Biotechnology, food technology, soft materials and design, hard materials, structures and mechanisms, electronics and control are some of the aspects of Technology taught at the Centre.
