YEAR 3 & 4 WRITING
Dear Diary
In the mammoth weekend I did Motor Cross.
When the gates went down I let the clutch go and off I went. I was so astonished with the prehistoric motorbike and the power it produced.
I was in a great position, 5th out of 30. Round a very sharp corner I passed two so I was in an astonishing 3rd place.
On the 3rd lap I fell off, head over handle bars. The bike flipped over me. When the bike had stopped flipping a person rushed over to help me up. When I stood up I felt pain in my arm and leg. I pullued my top off and there was a scar on my arm and a bruise on my leg.
So the race was over for me. I was so angry but at least I got to race a little bit.

Rainbows
I saw a rainbow in the sky.
Yesterday I saw a bright colourful rainbow. When it moved it smiled down at me.
It looked very, very beautiful and 3D.
At the end of the rainbow I knew there would be a very rich and cheeky goblin.

Rugby World Cup
I can hear the crowd cheering.
"All Blacks" yelled the crowd.
I nervously ran out onto the field. I went to my corner and stood proudly.
Eeeeeee! the whistle went.
The game began. The Tongans kicked the ball. I got it.
I ran as fast as I could. I headed straight for the goal posts.
A Tongan saw me. Not this time you won't!
