Hard to Bare!
As the bear licked the dry grass his tongue slithered, making a line like a snail trail. As the sun started to die down the lonely bear lay there, sad with two tears running down his lost eyes.
His thick brown coat shone when the sun arose form the horizon. His misery was devastating. He felt lonely and helpless. His velvet nose felt like a soft teddy and his gloomy eyes looked jealous as he awoke. His friends always left him out. He felt like nobody was there for him.
Day after day the devastated bear just lay there staring at his friends playing on the rocks. He started to realise he was dying. He soon remembered his age and thought, “Why am I dying so soon?”
As the sun died down he fell asleep and never woke again. Next day his friends came over to the devastation. They felt sorry and wanted him back. They cried remembering what they had done to hurt such a caring bear.
They never came back, they’d split apart. That was the end of them all,
Parted, why so soon?

I Can See The Orphan...
The small orphan could be clearly seen with his shoulders slumped, weeping quietly into his filthy, ragged sleeve. He was only a small boy of eight but he had a strange maturity about him. I could see it in the way he cleaned the large deep wound that ran down the side of his bony leg without so much as a wince.
But when I looked into his large staring eyes I could see the shadows of a lonely past that obviously still haunted him.
A loud siren went off in the distance and the skinny boy jumped. I stared after him as he ran with a slight limp into the dark and lonely night.

My Grandads garage.
It was my grandads garage, he let me visit it sometimes. He said it was special. But when I visited all I saw was cracked mould infested windows. The concrete floor covered in dust and the occasional remains of an insect. The benches were covered in tools which I thought didn't exist anymore. I know what my grandad meant, this garage was special to him in a way that I didn't yet know. But to me when I'm in it it makes me feel old as it is dark and dust floats up from the ground as I inspect the old garage.
